Wendi Yount is our senior Kitchen and Bath Designer and Showroom Manager in our Panama City Beach, FL location. In 2016, Wendi fulfilled her life long dream and moved to the beach after selling her own successful cabinet business in Birmingham, AL. Never expecting to end up in cabinets and design, Wendi’s faith led the way as she literally stepped out of her own kitchen 10 years ago into literally hundreds of others. After 20 years as a tutor for high school and college math and raising three children, her tennis friends got her started doing their own kitchen remodels and vacation beach properties. The new career fit her passions and her skill set—geometry, personal relationships, and construction creativity. Her approach to business is that it’s not about a job, but about a relationship and the opportunity to serve: “Whether I end up doing a kitchen or not, I know the quality of the product I use, I know that I am part of an experienced and professional team, and I believe in my abilities to guide the homeowner through the decisions and the process—they are the givens. But, what I want to do better everyday is personal—it’s getting to know, understand, and appreciate my prospects and clients and to discover what their goals and visions are for their project so I can get them there to the best of my ability.” Wendi’s signature is pulling together an affordable and practical beach-inspired style while offering cabinet solutions for space and organization—a must for condos and vacation rentals!
